Profile

Prof. King Lun Yeung is Chair Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering and of Environment & Sustainability. He obtained a Summa cum Laude in his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University, Philippines, before joining the graduate studies program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, USA, where he obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering in 1990 and 1993 respectively. Prof. Yeung is renowned for his membrane research related to energy generation and chemical production with the aim of achieving energy efficient processes. His research includes membrane material and architecture, membrane forming, functionalization and integration, with emphasis on system miniaturization and process intensification.
