Dr. Fei Xiao earned her B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2016, followed by MPhil and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from HKUST. After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Xiao remained at HKUST as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2021 to 2024 and served as a visiting scholar at the University of Delaware from 2022 to 2024. Since August 2024. She is appointed as a Research Assistant Professor at the Energy Institute and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at HKUST. Her research interests include electrochemical energy conversion devices (including fuel cells and electrolyzers), electrocatalysis, electrochemical fundamentals, and advanced materials.
